Jonah chapter 2 is a summary of the prophet Jonah turning his heart in repentance to the Lord. The prayer that is recorded in the belly of the fish shows a change of heart that hearkens the changed heart of the prodigal son in the gospels. In this sermon, we see what repentance looks like and the mercy that God extends to the cry of mercy.
